CRUISIN' FOR KIDS 2010
The 6th annual Cruisin' for Kids skiathon will be held in Vail, Colorado, on March 26, 2010. We are looking for participants ("kids" of all ages--2-102!) to join us in "Skiing for Solutions" and "Boarding for Breakthroughs" to reach our finish line--CURES. Participants will participate in an all-mountain scavenger hunt and ski laps at the Black Forest Race Arena. Each participant is encouraged to raise at least $100 (or $500 per family). Participants will receive a goody bag and lunch. They will also be invited to an after party celebration and will qualify for fantastic prizes.

FUNDRAISING
Previous participants have discovered some fun and creative ways to get pledges and raise money. In addition to e-mailing your fundraising web page (which can be created by clicking on the link below) to family and friends, you might want to try one of the following ideas which are not only great ways to raise money, but they also help spread awareness about the charity and the causes it supports:
- Sell pizza, Dairy Queen blizzards, or hot chocolate at your school at lunch time (make sure you get administration approval first!)
- Hold a raffle for a fun item
- Set up a lemonade or soda stand on your block or at a park
- Go door to door and talk to your neighbors about the event
- Conduct a letter writing campaign
- Ask a local business to match whatever funds you raise
